SHR Consulting Group, a minority-owned, 8(a) certified small business, announced it has named Randolf (Randy) Steiner as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Mr. Steiner is an accomplished executive with over 29 years of experience in the Information Technology Industry. With a diverse background in the public and private sectors, Mr. Steiner possesses vast experience in multidisciplinary IT specialties. Leading SHR forward, Mr. Steiner will utilize his technical knowledge and leadership skills to provide strategic leadership to the company, build vital collaborative relationships, advance the use of modern and innovative technologies, and propel the growth of SHR.

 

Prior to joining SHR, Mr. Steiner was the Division Chief for Solutions Development at the Enterprise Information Technology Services Directorate (EITSD) of the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS). Mr. Steiner served with the US Army acquisitions community as the division Chief for Knowledge Management and Chief Software Architect for the Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO-EIS). He has held positions as Chief Enterprise Architect and Technical Director for Enterprise Management Systems for SMS Data Products Group, Inc., the head of Enterprise Management Systems for all North American Operations for Qwest Communications, and Account Operations Manager and Sr. Network Engineer of Electronic Data Systems Corporations. Early in his career, Mr. Steiner served in a variety of capacities, to include: System Programmer, Systems Analyst, Systems Administrator, Database and Network Administrator for the United States Army 5th Signal Command and 7th Medical Command.
